Progress Report.

Brody is 15 weeks old. Tall. Not very chunky yet.

Tummy time is now a breeze. He holds his head up like a rockstar.

He loves LOVES his bouncer. Last week his feet didn't touch the floor, we had to put a pillow under him. This week THEY TOUCH! What the heck.

He loves anything with lights and music. That will keep him entertained for a good five minutes, which with that boy, is forever.

He rolls over like a crazy man. He first rolled from his back to his tummy a couple weeks ago. Once he got to his tummy he would get frustrated and cry. Now he can't be anywhere but the floor because he's a little steam roller.

He loves getting ready with me in the morning. I stick him in his Bumbo and on our bathroom counter and he just laughs and smiles at me as I go about my routine. I love the company.

He has full on conversations with us. In his own language. I could listen to him talk all day.

Here's a TMI for ya.. His new thing is to not poop everyday, but every other day. And when he does, it's a DISASTER. Up the back, out the sides, just a crazy mess. Yes I've upped his diaper size... doesn't help.

Because of his disaster poops, we started bathing twice a day. He loves baths so much that it's worth it even when he isn't that stinky. I love to watch him splash. He soaks me every time.

He giggles! finally the boy actually laughs.. and he's just full of them first thing in the morning. It's a nice way for me to perk up when I'm moving slow :)

This boy absolutely melts my heart. I am so incredibly lucky that my man, my big man, works so hard so that I don't have to. I get to stay home and enjoy our son. I love both my boys.

Silly Boy

This is a good month old, but a cute moment I actually caught on camera! YES. Love when that happens.

Celebrate Good Times. C'mon!

Brody and I tagged along with my great friend KaraLee and the women in her life, and we walked (fast) and strolled the 5K in downtown Boise. We had a blast. It was my very first time, which is a shame because it's gone on here for years. I'm thinking something like 12 thousand women walked, ran or strolled this thing. I have never seen so many people in one place, and for such a neat cause. There were babies and grandmas and everyone in between. I saw a few boys, but little Brody was pretty out numbered. He did great. Slept the whole time!

Brody's Blessing Day

Such a special day. Jake Blessed Brody at church and did such a beautiful job. Our little man screamed most of the time, but hey it was his day. Afterwords we had family and friends over to our house for Grubbage... which was DELISH!

Check out Brod's little man suit. I just die, I love it so much!

Just like his Momma

With all of his dark curly hair, I know there's been some question... WHO'S KID IS THIS?
I've wondered some days myself. BUT, after flipping through some baby pictures at my mom's house, I finally see it.

Am I crazy? Or does He look just like me when I was a babe?
I was so bald. My poor mother had to use Karo Syrup to glue bows to my head so she could clear up the big question. Yes, She's a She.

I just pray that if the day comes that I am blessed with a baby girl, she will have the beautiful bow-worthy hair that Mr. Brody does.

...Here are more of me and my bros from way back in the day.

I'm workin on my fitness.. Be my WITNESS!

I love son. Love him so much. Every extra pound and stretch mark is for him. But it's TIME. The gym is hard. With Jake's schedule and my fear of gym daycare centers, it's not really an option for me right now. I've started doing a little circuit with free weights at home and as easy as it seems, it kicks my butt. What I need to focus on though is my cardio. This girl needs to RUN.

I am the queen of excuses, always have been. I promised myself when i was Super huge pregnant that I would jump right back into working out. I was desperate at the time for my old bod. But GEEZ life is just busy these days! But busy or not, I really am focused now and ready. I weigh in--in front of Jake. And that for me this is important because it holds me more accountable. I'm super sore today but it feels great--it feels like progress. I've been attacking pinterest for motivation. Here are some of my fav finds.
