Bumbo!

Jake and I have been recording everything.. I promise! I'm so frustrated though because we can't figure out how to upload the videos we have on our camcorder. ughh. SO I started to take some on my little camera. This is from a few weeks ago, and was the first time Brody tried his Bumbo seat. Didn't love it. We haven't used it since then. Today though it dawned on me while Jake was playing with him. Brody has a stable head! Yay. Now he sits in his Bumbo like it's his thrown.

Still though, this video makes me laugh. :)

The Many Faces of Brody

And my personal favorite-- the lip quivering pout.

We've been busy!

Josh graduates from Army Medic school. All the boys in camo to show support. So cute.

Brody's not loving your shades dad...

We road-tripped to Utah for my cousins wedding. So beautiful.

Notice the animal on Jake's face.... yep.

It'll be a sad day when my little boy can't take baths in my kitchen sink anymore.

Breaking in the patio

Dinner and s'mores with Austin and Kara.

Lake day

Oh it's my favorite place to be. My most favorite memories are being at the lake with my family. This was Brody's second trip. He loved it. The weather was perfect, not to hot with just a tiny breeze. AND I got to try out my new wake board. It's a gem. I'm a little rusty for sure, & a lot heavier but getting up is getting up and that's all that matters. It felt good.Little stud in his new swim trunks :)

Moving in....slowly

We love love LOVE our new place. It feels just HUGE, it's not... but compared to the apartment, and our room in my Mom's basement it sure could be. We've still got boxes everywhere, especially in our bedroom. Brody doesn't let us get a lot of unpacking done. It's amazing how exhausted we are just going about our normal, daily routine... But when we are feeling up to it, we throw some unpacking in there. I did finally get to put Brody's nursery together. FINALLY. I had been waiting to do this since I found out I was pregnant. It was so fun. It's my favorite room in our house...and it's not finished quite yet. I will put pictures up of everything when it's a little more put together. We sure love it here though, boxes n all. It's comfortable and I feel safe.

Which brings me to my next thought. Jake's night shift. BLAH

Jake got a new job. Still within Darigold's company, but instead of working in Boise at the Milk plant, he is now in Caldwell working as a butter man! The wonderful thing about it is that he is no longer a temp. He's a full time, hired on employee. Woo hoo! His shift though, is taking some getting used to for me... and for him I'm sure. 12 hour shifts. 5am to 5pm. He works 3 1/2 days and then gets the better part of the weekend off. It really isn't too bad of a schedule. He doesn't seem to hate it.

BUT for the next 20 days he's working 12 hour shifts with NO DAYS OFF. ughhhh
So Brody and I get to see his Dad at 6 am when he gets home (we are usually having breakfast about then) for a couple of hours and then he goes to bed before he does it all over again. It's rough. The overtime sure won't be bad, but not seeing my husband is a big fat bummer :( We miss him already.
