Walkin in a Winterless Wonderland?

It has been bitter cold out, which is to be expected this time of year. But there's something missing and it's BIG. Normally I don't mind the cold because of the cute winter clothes I get to wear. I love hoodies, coats, boots and most of all hats so the cold allows me to sport my fav gear. This year though, I'm finding that I mind! There is no stinkin' snow to make it worth while! How, it is this flippin cold and there is no white goodness on the ground is just beyond me. So I'm waiting. I've waited a long time to use my snowboard again. Hopefully I will get an opportunity to do so this season.

On the brighter side, Christmas is fast approaching and I am soaking in every bit of my favorite season. Our house smells strong of vanilla and pine. We've put up our tree and set out our Nativity. Pandora has been on Christmas non-stop. I'm a happy girl. Jake, who's always happy, is even happier and Brody is very swollen and ALMOST has teeth so he's not so happy :( . Christmas is going to be a special one this year. I can feel it.

Enjoy this magical season, all! Now, PRAY FOR SNOW!

Forever, and then some.

Friday Photo Dump

A First Halloween.

Not only was it Brody's very first Halloween, but it was the first major Holiday in our new house!

Halloween is much different with a baby. Jake and I have celebrated much more crazily in the past. Obviously we can't go trick or treating, or go out really. So we decided to have our own little party. It gave us an opportunity to dress up and and get into the true spirit of Halloween. At first Jake was hesitant about having to put on a costume, but somehow, in the middle of the evening he did an outfit change into his second look. (Okay Kim Kardashian)

It was a great night.
